The World Around Us and All That Comes With It

1) Students will attend various enrichment events (basketaball games, baseball games, theater, etc.)

2) Students will observe and record their environment. Taking data as well as observations. Using the tablets they will be able to use word processing on site as well as record video and stills of what they are learning about.

3) Students will calculate appropriate values (such as the height the ball reached). Students will write appropriate poetry related to the event. Students will obeserve and interpret the cultural aspects of those in attendance.

4) Findings will be shared out in a appropriate settings (publishing a classroom book, mock sportscast, or mock newscast) Video footage from their tablets will be used to create the video clips. Stills will be used to enhance the written work.
