What is the 2-for-1 Flip Ultra Camcorder Matching Program?

This special matching program for educators was designed to make video technology more accessible, and help teachers affordably integrate video into the classroom. Anyone can purchase a Flip Ultra camcorder for his or her favorite classroom and Flip Video will match every purchase with a second camcorder for free! With this matching program educators and donors can easily put the power of video into classrooms across the US.

Does my school qualify?

This promotion is limited to full-time educators at K-12 public or non-profit schools with 501(c)3 status. All public schools in the US qualify. The camcorders must become the property of the school where the teacher works. For these reasons school districts, pre-schools and educational agencies do not qualify for this promotion. Educators who don't qualify for this promotion can contact [email protected].

How do I pay by Purchase Order?

This is a matching grant program. We need payment up front in order for your funds to be matched. For this reason we require full payment before we can process orders. If your school needs to send a purchase order, please also include a check, or we will be unable to process the order. Orders must be placed on our website. Instructions on the proper way to send a PO can be found here.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is 8% of every order. Orders to different teachers must be mailed separately in order to keep track of quantity limits per teacher, however one order can be placed with multiple recipients.

Can I pay for the Flips with my own money?

Anyone can pay for the Flip Camcorders, but all purchases made on our website must become property of the school. If you wish to use your own money you would be making a tax-deductible donation to your school.

Is there a limit of how many Flips my school can purchase?

Each educator can have up to four Flip camcorders allocated to their classroom. There is no limit to how many camcorders a school can own.

Why won't the shopping cart let me enter 4 into the quantity?

Each of the flips comes as a set of two, so if you want four camcorders, then enter a quantity of two.
