| Description: |
The Bob Costas Grants are awarded to outstanding teachers of grades 6-12 who successfully motivate their students to write through inventive teaching methods. The grants are awarded to enhance successful programs that teachers are currently running. The projects may be found in public or nonpublic school classrooms, through an after-school activity or writing workshop, or during a summer program. The $3,000 grants will be awarded to six teachers. |
