Using iPad technology, students from 4 to 8 years old will achieve the social goals necessary to succeed in today's educational and business world. The students will learn the terminology of emotions, social skills and problem-solving strategies with high-interest apps.
Franklinton Primary School is a PreK-2nd grade school with approximately 715 students. We are high poverty, with the majority of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. So, our students need to be motivated in career areas where they can support themselves in a future career.
Franklinton Primary School can not afford the technology that our students need to achieve in a technologically-driven world. Not only will having an iPad help students to better learn social skills and increase the emotional intelligence of our students, but it will prepare them to study toward college and work in an ever-growing tech-based career.
