Purchase 6 - 12 computers and keyboards (along with monitors & peripherals) that are fully capable of displaying the Cherokee Syllabary (unicode) so that students may use their native Cherokee language in modern technology- Apple has keyboards but windows 10 works also; a micro mini pc that has 4 GB and windows 10 along with HDMI tv will also work in a pinch- but macbooks are already designed

Why I Teach: I share Cherokee language with students who otherwise have little or no access to their ancestral speech. The boarding school attempt to destroy the language very nearly succeeded. We are reviving the language and the self esteem that confidence brings as well as sharing crafts & culture
