I am writing today to request funding for the purchases of graphing and scientific calculators. Our school is in desperate need of approximately 4 class sets (25 per class) of graphing calculators and 2 class sets (25 per class) of scientific calculators.

The budget for the 2017-18 school year was cut after being cut significantly the past two school years. We are a public school in Howard County, Maryland. We have 40% FARMs and 45% African-American population. Many of our students do not have access to their own calculators so classroom sets are desperately needed.
