I am a special education teacher for 8th grade students. My students are usually the last to receive grade level textbooks, supplies, and technology. I believe this is due to the fact that administration believe that special education children cannot learn as well as the general education students. This is far from the truth. I do not want to go another year without my students having the necessary equipment to compete in the global economy. They need to know how to use technology, complete research projects, interact with peers around the world, and research careers and colleges they are interested in attending in the future. A laptop will allow them the ability to do so. I am asking for assistance with this project. The funds will cover three printers and 14 laptops.
