Working in a private, non-profit, special education school for students with severe social, emotional, behavioral challenges who have been out-placed from their public home-schools, students often do not have access to up-to-date technology which as we know is an integral part of 21st-century learning. I hope to provide equitable educational opportunities for my students who suffer from mental health issues and are learning in an alternative learning environment.
