My classroom is fundraising for 3 iPads to use in the classroom for various subjects. These iPads will be used throughout the reading block to help make reading more interactive and engaging.
These iPads can also be used to help students learn typing skills. As we make the switch over to computerized testing, these students will need the typing skills to be successful. This is an excellent opportunity to focus on this!
Math is also another area where iPads become an invaluable tool! From multiplication and division games to measurement tools, the iPad can be a phenomenal tool for math learning opportunities.
We would also use this technology for science investigations and projects. We complete many different projects throughout the year including biomes, solar systems, and animal investigations. Having these iPads would allow more students to research at one time!
Technology is something that our current generation loves and thrives on. I hope that you will consider my class to receive this fundraiser so that I can, as their teacher, reach out and engage their learning even more!
