State preschool within a school district. Class population: 8 girls and 16 boys, with two assistants. Low income families, majority speak spanish. Ages 3-4 year olds.

Tools to prepare them for Kindergarten and the future. To explore adventures within the home, the school, and the community. Books, videos/CD's, study trips, computers, camera and special guest to capture and explore interest within them.
My Philosophy:
When you plant a seed and provide the means and needs to grow. Within time, something special grows and blossoms. Each student is a seed, they need to explore to grow within. Each child has the right to learn, to express in many ways. Allow him/her to grow, within time he/she will too blossom.

Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy teaching, finding new ways to learning at many levels with use of technology today. I want these little people to succeed in what they do. Though each year gets a bit more challanging. I enjoy seeing the growth within each student and sharing it with parents. I won't give up on them, I will find and provide resources for their individual and/or family needs. As their first teacher, I want them to remember that I went that extra mile for them. Making their first year fun and memorable.
