We would like to raise money to receive two iPods Touch devices, two USB power adapters, and a few applications (reading games) for our 4th grade classroom.
Technology in the classroom is very important. Technology is huge in our world and the students in elementary school now thrive on using technology. The 21st century has been upon us for quite some time now.

I have a great group of students this year. They listen so well and love to work hard. I have given them project after project to complete and they constantly blow me away with their abilities. We are one of four 4th grade classes in our school and our school has almost 600 students. But, we are in a small town in mountains of West Virginia. It's such a big school that we sometimes have to put money toward other areas instead of technology.

Having iPods in my classroom would allow the students to see the world. I plan to start small and place them in reading or math groups stations. Here students would be able to play spelling, reading, vocabulary, and many other games. There are so many worthwhile educational apps available.
Eventually I would like to raise enough funds to buy a class set. Students could create podcasts, videos, and even their own apps based on the state content standards.
