The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide a classroom set of tablet computers for the music classes at Vineyards Elementary. There are numerous apps designed for education, and specifically music education, that can enhance learning and reinforce knowledge gained in the classroom. There are also apps designed to help me as the teacher to receive instant feedback from my students to let me know what content is, or is not understood by the class. With the push for more "Bring Your Own Device" programs in the public schools, I would like to make tablet computers available for all students in my classes so that I can control the content available, as well as give all students access to current technology.
