The purpose of this lesson is to provide digital cameras to be used by students in the art classroom. The students will have hands-on experiences with digital cameras and photography software. They will manipulate photos to create artistic and visual effects. Students will learn how to frame a photo, create a good quality photo-composition, and process their images with a computer to complete their projects culmination with a end of year video slideshow presentation.
Follow-Up
Each year the elementary students will use the cameras in art class for a variety of projects such as: power point presentations, bulletin boards, parent nights, and the yearbook.
