Students will read a book appropriate to their reading level.
Students will watch example book talks on www.meetmeatthecorner.com
Students will write a book talk and begin to prepare their podcast.
Students will use a Flip video camera to create a podcast.
Students whose parents do not give consent to video will create an animated version using the website animoto.com
Podcasts will be uploaded on the computer.
Students will be graded on a rubric.
Comments
Students will use the computer lab for word-processing and editing their video. Podcasts will be shown on the Smartboard in the classroom.
