What's Buzzin' at Bowen?

Once a classroom teacher has made me aware of a special project or program going on their classroom, the 'story' is assigned to a group of students. This group of students then meets with the classroom teacher about his/her project/program, what they would like to be highlighted about it, along with students that would be good to interview. My students must also find out at this time if there are students that cannot be on camera as well. Once they have their information, the group will decide who will: be the reporter, write the questions, edit the video, be the recorder, etc. When this has been approved, they will then meet with the class at the correct day/time. After the video has been taped, the group then downloads their video and prepares a polished video using Windows Movie Maker. Once these have been approved, they are then added to our Podcast for parents and students to enjoy!!
