Goals for the group: The students will: compare, contrast, and sort Legos.
Research the creator of legos, the origin of the name, and history, using internet resourses. Present to the whole group.
Create and read a graph using Legos.
Present an item from home to present to the group (based on the Lego theme)
Review several Lego movies on youtube.com.
In small groups (3-5 students) , plan, shoot, edit and play a short Lego movie.
Journal their daily activities and experiences.
Create a marble ramp – teat – and make modifications. Then test for height and distance.
Plan and create an artistic sculpture with legos.
Follow a lego plan and create a lego plan for a vehicle.


How will the goals be assessed? Teacher observation and questioning of student participation in group discussion, presentations, and individual written work samples. A list of activities and short narrative will be attached to the journal and work samples.
