Typed in Faith will provide the comprehensive framework for our curriculum in 4th-6th grade. The vision of Typed in Faith is simple: every child should master the foundations of digital literacy while staying rooted in Scripture. "We want them to use technology as a tool, not be ruled by it." Typed in Faith provides a complete, ad-free curriculum with 910 exercises across 6 modules that progress from home-row finger placement through full-keyboard mastery. The curriculum guides students through the entire Bible in canonical order: Modules 1-3 cover the Old Testament from Genesis through the Prophets while teaching home-row, top-row, and bottom-row keys. Module 4 introduces punctuation and special characters through Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. Modules 5-6 provide full-keyboard mastery through the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation. After each exercise, students receive Scripture-based encouragement and performance feedback. Unlike secular programs that may contain ads, track user data for marketing, or include content that conflicts with Christian values, Typed in Faith maintains a completely clean learning environment with no advertisements, no third-party data collection, and no ideological content that would concern Christian parents. The dashboard tracks words-per-minute, accuracy, and identifies which keys need additional practice. Most importantly, every exercise uses verbatim Scripture, meaning screen time becomes spiritually productive time. ESV will be available for the 2026 school year. Subscriptions run for the calendar year, so students and parents are able to work at home during the school year and summer if desired. Keyboard Typing Course Curriculum: Modules 1–3 | Home Row, Top Row, Bottom Row Letters Students learn home-key finger placement and work through each lowercase letter in a natural progression. As they type excerpts from Genesis to Deuteronomy, the Historical Books, and the Prophets, illustrated Scripture art anchors both muscle memory and meaning. By the end, students type confidently and see Scripture woven through every lesson. Module 4 | Capital Letters, Punctuation, and Review Students integrate capital letters, punctuation, numbers, and special keys while exploring Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. The questions, exclamations, and rhythms of these texts bring deeper meaning to the lessons. The module closes with an Old Testament review and prophetic excerpts from Micah 5, Isaiah 53, Daniel 7 and others pointing toward the coming of Christ. Modules 5–6 | Full Keyboard typing of the Gospels and the Early Church Typing expands to full-keyboard mastery as students follow the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection and ascension through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, with over 250 verbatim Scripture exercises tracing His words and works. The final module moves from Acts to Revelation, guiding students through the Church's growth and the hope of Christ's return. Student, Parent, and Teacher Dashboards After each exercise, Students receive Scripture-based encouragement, performance feedback, and a simple reward system reinforces steady growth. The dashboard reports accuracy and words per minute over time, along with insights on which letters or keys need more practice. Teachers can monitor class-wide progress on a single screen. |
