Why I need this:
I teach elementary music in two different schools.
I would like to convert my classroom to run through scrum teams. This would create a project based community for learning where kids will take responsibililty for their own learning in teams by trying to solve problems presented to them.
A large part of this is the use of technology for research, composing, designing their projects.
Many people have a preconceived idea of music class- we would still play instruments, sing, and dance. This would add a new component where students get to drive the class and teach each other. It would allow for more experimentation, creativity and student engagment. |
