The Mobile Beacon SIM card donation program at Digital Wish provides free SIM cards for your inactive hotspots to eligible public and non-profit private schools throughout the United States.

Description

This is a SIM card to be used in a hotspot that you provide (Bring Your Own Device - BYOD) to connect to Mobile Beacon's 5G and 4G mobile broadband Internet service. The SIM can be used at any location within the Mobile Beacon coverage area. Please use the compatibility checker below to confirm that your device is eligible.

This offer allows you to receive one SIM from Mobile Beacon. You can receive up to 10 SIM cards by requesting multiple quantities of this offer. After you request this offer by paying the admin fee at checkout, you'll also pay Mobile Beacon $120 for a 12-month service plan. You'll need to request your SIM cards and purchase service plans on Mobile Beacon's website before June 30, 2026. See the Details and Service Costs tab for more information.

About Mobile Beacon Internet Service

Mobile Beacon's wireless broadband service is provided on the T-Mobile network. This service includes nationwide 5G coverage, unlimited data, and no data caps or throttling.

Download speeds typically range from 70 to 320 megabits per second with 5G service and 4 to 35 megabits per second with 4G service. Upload speeds range from 15 to 31 megabits per second with 5G and 4 to 35 megabits per second with 4G. Additional Devices Available at Standard Rates

Organizations may apply for Mobile Beacon's donation once during the same fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) and receive up to 10 SIM cards with subscriptions. If you need devices beyond what is included through Mobile Beacon's device donation programs, additional SIM cards can be purchased from Mobile Beacon at standard rates. Obtaining This Product

An $10 administrative fee will be applied at checkout.* You will need to activate the $120 annual plan with Mobile Beacon for the SIM cards to be used in your devices. Digital Wish will email you a subscription code and instructions. A school, organization or personal credit card is required to process your subscription service with Mobile Beacon. You will renew Internet service directly through Mobile Beacon. If you find that you need more SIM cards after the first year, you can return to Digital Wish and request more Mobile Beacon products.

One-Year Prepaid Service Agreement RequiredEducators that participate in this offer must agree to pay Mobile Beacon in advance for one year of mobile broadband Internet service for each device received. The current education & nonprofit pricing for this service is $120 for 12 months ($10 per month, paid annually in advance). Digital Wish is not a party to this agreement. Refunds for the service must be requested directly from Mobile Beacon within 30 days of receiving it. See Mobile Beacon's limited refund policy here.

Mobile Beacon Internet ServiceThe wireless broadband service offered by Mobile Beacon uses the same network as the services offered by many telecommunications companies. Its download speeds average 6 to 8 megabits per second, with peak speeds of 25 megabits per second.

Additional Program Rules

Organization email addresses required - All accounts require that email addresses must be affiliated with the school, not a personal email address.

Case study - Recipient organizations may be asked to provide information to Mobile Beacon to create a case study or testimonial on this program.

Product distribution - Products will be distributed under this program to qualifying schools and educators only. Recipient organizations may not transfer or resell Mobile Beacon products.
