Pretty good app.It could be better, in a few ways. But, for free you can't demand too much. Overall, this app is useful. One of the best features is its ability to work with other apps. In particular, Skeye, Meteor Shower Calender will open Skeye and direct you to the source of the meteor shower.

mobile observ is better..The app works fine. But I still find myself using Mobile Observatory far more, even for meteor showers. I give the app a 3 because it does what it says. I would had been a 4 if they had added ability to export shower peak time to my calendar.

Needs a few tweaksIt would be better if you could pick a hemisphere - select to have only those showers listed that will be visible where you live. I really don't want a listing of those meteor showers I won't be able to see - I get to miss enough showers due to bad weather.

Solid idea, not-so-solid executionThe idea of linking the issues stargazers might run into when looking for meteor showers (background, locating the shower, and weather conditions) is great. The information isn't always and the Google maps connection glitches out to often with this app.
