Great app!I really love this app, it's been invaluable to my Japanese studies. I'm already outpacing my peers in my Japanese class in my Kanji knowledge, and my on/kunyomi knowledge. There are a couple of elements I think would make this app even better. If I had a way of grouping the vocabulary words or kanji that are showing up as 'red' after testing so I can review them specifically, that would be fantastic. Otherwise I'm digging through hundreds of words to find the ones I'm having trouble with. In addition, if the search function would allow me to search by the japanese word, that would be helpful too. But that doesn't detract from the 5 stars this app completely deserves.

Excellent app for anyone taking it in CollegeI use this app to upload my own kanji that I am working on for a particular chapter in my Japanese course. It forces me to know stroke orders and the constant repetition really helps get them down. I recommend it.

IncredibleThis app is amazing. It takes up hardly any space and very little battery when running, so I can study for hours. I got this app just wanting to have a tool to aid me in memorizing the kana, but what this app gives me is so much more! And on top of all of that, you can opt out of ads. The only way this could be better is maybe... a gramar quiz testing you on concepts? But even without that, this app is virtually flawless.

The best!I've tried other apps in the market but this one really is the best. I'm currently trying to re-learn the hiragana and katakana that I've learned before and this app makes it more interesting to study again. Sooo useful, I'm loving it. I hope it remains free though. :D

best on the marketTo tell you the truth this app is one of my favourite on my smart phone. I use it for studying kanji and finding japanese meanings or word compounds. You can get those really nice Casio kanji calculators for a lot of money, or get this app for free. 5 stars!

Best training appHonestly I've had this app on my phone for ages and never really used it till today when I decided to goof around with my phone, I've never had so much fun with kanji in my life. The test mode is hands down awsome; learnt more in the last hour than in several months studying on paper. I seriously recommend it to anyone looking to learn Japanese! Great job dev team! Hope u keep on updating this app to make it even better! Would give 10 stars if possible.

A very complete language AppI have to say this app is by far better than any other apps I have tried on the app store. It's constantly being updated and contains tests for different learner levels. I just can't understand why they give such great app away for free. (Not that I'm complaining though)

Great App!Wish this had been around 30 years ago when I was first learning Japanese. Love using it now to brush up on my kanji and my daughter who's now learning Japanese uses it and loves it. What a fabulous tool! Best app around! Runs beautifully on HTC Desire HD and T Prime.

One more wishBecause I'm just starting out it would be good to have audio for the pronunciation on the Hiragana "alphabet" for example. I guess if you know the pronunciation of the 102 sounds there is nothing else to ask for - looks like a complete learning system.
