Fills in many of the little pieces that rosetta stone, by design leaves out. Between this, Conjugation Japanese and OpenWnn Japanese IME Android apps and JWPce Japanese word processor for PC, I have learned more on my own than I could have in any classroom.

Worth the moneyTotally superior to other mobile language apps that just quiz you on vocabulary words. Teaches sentence structure, grammar rules, etc... without being mind-numbingly boring. If only there was a Russian and Mandarin version of this.

The best way I've found to learn Japanese!This app totally rocks!!! I've tried classroom language course, textbook, phrase book etc., but this is the best by far. If you are serious about learning Japanese and you have Android, this is an absolute must-have. I would consider buying an android device just for that and if that isn't the very definition of a killer app I don't know what is. Buy immediately!!!

Great resource, big technical issue.For whatever reason (doesn't matter), it randomly decides to redownload all the media files. But for the love of all that is sacred, PLEASE DO NOT SUSPEND THE DOWNLOAD IF NOT IN FOREGROUND! Having to wait on media files to download makes the phone COMPLETELY USELESS for a long period of time, as if you leave the screen it IMMEDIATELY stops downloading!!!

WOW! Very well done.Took some Japanese courses a couple decades ago, but thought I had forgotten it all... A few hours with this thing... my head hurts, but I can read kana again. Hope the Kanji isn't quiet as painful to get back, but I'm looking forward to it! TY TY TY!!!
