Another dissatisfied Gingerbread userYou claim that the compass issues of East and West being flipped are a manufacturer error yet Google Maps and the Compass app find a way to work flawlessly. At least have an option to flip East and West? I would love to support your app but for now I will have to demand a refund. -Motorola Droid X2 running the latest software update of Android 2.3.5

Beautiful and functionalIt is a wonderful app. I just wish the frame rates were better. I was comparing this to an app in my friends ipad and his was so much smoother, but my phone has more processing power and a smaller screen to drive. One big issue is that the stars etc are very off. On my phone they showed to be 20 off (easterly) from where the really were. This was using the moon as a reference. But, Sky Maps is very accurate, so it's not my phone. Love the app though. That is way I bought it

This app is a must have!I've always been passionate about stars and this app is simply amazing, even better when star gazing with a telescope. The latest update with the ability to take the view point from a solar system planet is again fantastic! To the developer: thanks, your app is amazing and worth every penny. I would have rated it 6/5 stars if I could.

Star ChartSupper cool, I have been an amateur astronomer for 35 years. I start work at early o'clock in the morning. The boys will ask, what is that? Now i can pull out my phone and tell them exactly what they are looking at. One request, can you put the space station on, I believe I've seen it zipping over but not sure.

License check on every lauch means Internet access required.If you don't have solid and fast access to the Internet (3g or wlan), validation will fail and the app will refuse to run. In other words, it's perfect for stargazing in the city and sure helps you imagine all those constellations you can't see from there, but it's utterly and tragically unsuited for many of those places you might actually want to use it, like out camping. Google SkyMap saved the day (or night, rather).

Works greatOf it isn't lining up for you, follow the directions and hold the phone out and do a figure 8 in the air in front of you. Do this a couple times and it realigns everything just fine. This program works great.

Doesn't show me what I am pointing atWhen I hold my tablet in one direction it says "east" I move it around and it is always EAST. Also, I know the sun is not above me.... am I doing something wrong?

The bestest!!"no correlation to reality..." Don't blame the app! It your phones compass's fault it needs callibration just shake it in all directions.Try intalling a compass app and compare! Totally worth your cash Only idiots will hate this app.

No correlation to reality...Looks great, I love the ghostly artistic overlay of the constellations but doesn't match what I'm seeing nor does it agree with the several other astronomy/observatory apps I use, placing the East in the North...which means a 90 error!
