Not as stable as it used to be. Htc G2Application resets every time there is an orientation change then force closes after screen shuts off due to extremely long load time. This used to not be an issue when app purchased at 10c sale. Sent logcat via crash detector.

Landscape/PortraitSwitching between both re-initializes the app with the loading status bar and all? Come on we know an activity gets destroyed and re-created but there's got to be a way to just initialze once. Sony Xperia S 2.3.7

Database is lackingMissing many common messier objects like the Jewel Box cluster, for example. Also, the search in general is very lacking for eg you can't search for any clusters or nebulae.. For anyone really interested in astronomy, I would recommend SkySafari instead.

Text size too small in galaxy noteIt was quite easy to read the text labels in iPhone. But in my galaxy note the text appear much smaller and text cannot be zoom. Its quite difficult for me to read.

Doesn't show me what I am pointing atWhen I hold my tablet in one direction it says "east" I move it around and it is always EAST. Also, I know the sun is not above me.... am I doing something wrong?

Looks pretty but basic compared to Vortex Planetarium or the SkySafari apps. Hard to recommend this over Skeye or Google Sky Map which are free.

TOO MANY Updates. ARGHH!!DEVELOPER : How about doing your own tests *Before* releasing next update & stop treating us almost daily as your beta testers? Thanks. I appreciate your efforts, really I do! But not every minor tweak has to be released immediately. (And who needs Twitter with this app, anyway?) Please quit acting like this is the only app we have on our phones. I have nearly 200 & don't have time to keep working through the update list to pick out the important ones from those that I may as well ignore, such as the updates constantly churned out for this app. Two more stars will be coming off the rating, if we get another update in the near future. Sorry! But back up to 5 stars if we don't!

Nice to look at, sorta usefulWorks ok, doesn't follow the tablet, so best use is in manual mode. Very hard to select some messier objects as it keeps wanting to pick the random nearby star. Also don't figure why stars are scaled to magnitude but not planets? Jupiter is as big as a mag 6 star. Xoom tablet.

Installation Errors --> Explanation*Non-technical* ... Suppose the phone needs to install an app. During the install, It needs a workshop table to hold all the parts. It always wants to use a table with a GREEN tablecloth. My phone ships from the factory with a GREEN tablecloth on a small table, and a RED tablecloth on a big table. The app won't fit on the GREEN table cause the table is too small. Solution? Become a power user and interchange the tablecloths. Now retry the install. The app will now fit on the GREEN tablecloth (it always wants GREEN) which is now on the big table. After the install, reboot your phone. During start up the phone will put the GREEN tablecloth on the small table, and the RED tablecloth on the big table. This is the way it's designed to work even though it's sometimes causes a problem with app installs. Note: Some phone models ship from the factory with the GREEN tablecloth already normally on the big table. *Technical* ... The problem is usually caused by the /cache filesystem being too small. Unmount it and mount it onto another very big part of the sdcard. Then retry the install, which will almost certainly work. Then reboot.

Pretty but slow and huge.The display is pretty, but the app is too big and they keep making it bigger. Slow on LG Optimus V.
