CrashesCrashes the system and makes my TF201 reboot after closing the app. The problem came after last updates. Sometimes preloaded videos refuse to start. Again, problem has appeared after last update.

Not loading videos.nexus 7The app itself works as I can browse the talks. However, the videos do not load and I am unable to download the videos also. I have disabled ad blocking . I guess it may be a server error.

Stop forceloading!I like the talks. I hate that the app starts when my phone does, and always stays in the background. No need at all for that type of behavior.

Buggy!I wish I coild roll this app back to its previous version. Since the update, it no longer works right on my Android smartphone. It keeps buffering, stopping and restarting.

Video does not showI really like TED... But this app doesn't work for me... TED logo starts showing in moving action then it stops at TED logo... but sound keeps running. Plus... I cannot stop the sound.. On my HTC View Honeycomb tablet

Great program but..But the problem is that I'm really sick of it loading itself in the background even from just powering on my phone. Wtf. I even went so far as to remove its background receivers but wow, amazingly it has the ability to override it and reinstate its receivers. F**king lame programming.

Not helpful!Since updating this app, I keep getting a message saying there is a problem. It's started interfering with my calls...so no alternative than to delete the whole thing!!

It's always open even..This program is always open. I didn't notice this until it started glitching and now once every ten minutes it says it failed and i need to force close it. It shouldn't even be running. It runs without u being able to see it. Sneaky.

Latest update crashesLatest update keeps crashing out of the blue e.g. when surfing web or setting alarm in clock, suddenly that app freezes and get warning that TED has crashed. Immediate uninstall.

Ted is for sheepI just love how they blend half-assed philosophers with obvious scientific truth that is out schooled by anyone who has seen a few episodes of through the wormhole. This reminds me of Wikipedias tactic of slipping in biased BS in a sea of obvious truths to influence popular opinion, I'm sorry but my 168 iq means I won't fall for tricks like these, pathetic really. Freakin socialist morons and their hairbrained re-education schemes gimme a break. If you really want deep understanding, don't listen to some pea-brained stage puppet go learn some math, like geometry, trig, algebra, nonlinear equations, etc. Read Wolframs A New Kind of Science, read Black Holes and Time Warps by Kip. S Thorne, watch some decent documentaries, most importantly handle your own education with diligence, this kind of skim learning is poor for ones intellect and can form an incorrect picture of the facts while real research can grant one true understanding of the topic at hand. Leave second hand education for the sheeple and read a book.

Runs on its own.....I'll open it and use it. Then I'll close it out, shut it from task manager, but it will keep popping up. No need for it to run or startup on its own.

UselessI love TED talks and downloaded this app to listen to them on my morning commute, but the maximum volume of this app is so low that I can't hear it over ambient city noise.

Video keeps loading..Content is good but videos keep loading though I have a decent Internet connection. Even the audio feature seems to never work. Therefore uninstaling it.

Very buggyNo video played on any talks I selected ony sound. Could not stop the app using task manager, audio just kept on going even when I shut down my tablet. Only way to stop is complete reboot. Great app but needs debugging.

Content is awesome, tool useless!The topics and discussions are mind blowing and extremely interesting. The range of topics is extremely wide. The only issue is related to the tool. Viewing the talks is just slow and broken, even using 4GB connectivity, so I opt to download which is even more frustrating. I will sometimes just scedule and single download, sometimes up to three or four. Out of every ten to fifteen downloads, I only get one successful download. The rest just fail. You cannot restart or reschedule as the is no status on your downloads. No single page to manage the downloads. Also why so many failures?! I can download files many times the size using other applications with no problem. Only TED has issues.

Poor streamingCouldn't watch a presentation on this due to streaming and buffering issues. Watched the same presentation on youtube without any issues at all.

HTC FLYERStill not working correctly, no video, no controls and despite the fact issues have previously been reported. Could be awesome.

Used to be a good app, but now it starts itself. I shut it down, and few minutes later it is running again. No need for this app to run continuously

Dangerous program!When you view a video in your downloaded list it pretends to play the file but actually re-downloads it every time. Watch out for excessive bandwidth usage and high phone bills!
