Deadline: Fri 05/22/2009 05:07:58 PM
Judging Criteria: Submissions will be judged on the following: Incorporation of events in the 2008-2009 school year. These can be local or national – feel free to create a lesson plan based on an exciting local or regional event that has affected your students. Projects can span a longer timeframe (e.g. The History of the Olympics) than the actual event. Effective use of Kidspiration software (see below for free trial information). Student involvement Creativity and fun
From the first African American president to the Beijing Olympics, the 2008-09 school year has been full of momentous events. Using Kidspiration, create a project or lesson plan idea that explores the year’s events. It could focus on the Olympics, the election, or even a special event that took place at your school or in your community – think of it as a “year in review.” Let your students help develop the ideas; their creativity will shine through.
