Write Across America

First of all students researched Winston Salem and made brochures with the information. Publisher was used to make the brochures. Then we went online to a school data base and chose schools for our mailing. Next students made a survey to send in the mailing. They completed the survey about themselves. After a lesson on business letters, students wrote a business letter, explaining this project. All of this was put into a mailing envelope, addressed, and mailed. It was fun getting responses back and learning about other states.
