Each student will choose one of the battles of the Civil War to research via the internet and print materials such as their textbook and library materials. The students will record notes as they research and then summarize the information gathered into one or two paragraphs. The students will also search for and save an image relating to their chosen battle. Once their final draft of paragraph is written, they will then use the postcard creating App titled PhotoCard to create a postcard. Once postcard is completed, they will follow the steps recommended in the App to email the postcard to the school principal, their parents, or other designated recipient.
