Class Description:
I maintain the computer lab and I teach 5th & 6th grade for an hour Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I also work with the 7th & 8th grade when it comes time for them to format they're papers and do their bigger research papers.

Needs:
The lab needs a alot of educational software and basic typing stuff for the kids to use. Alot of them are a year or two beind technologically because the software and computers had yet to be made accessible. Alot of the kids can't even navigate a keyboard let alone type.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I remember the teacher that made a difference in my life. If our paths had never crossed or she hadn't cared I may be pregnant dead or in jail. Because of her I went to college and I am persuing a masters degree in Fall 2007. Because of her I give back. I remember the differnce between a good teacher and a phenomenal one and it was never based on a grade I recieved but the time she put into developing me as a person.
