Class Description:
My class is a First Grade Bilingual classroom. My teaching partner and I have combined our classrooms to teach the Bilingual and Monolingual English classrooms to create a more open and cooperative classroom. We teach in both languages so as to challenge all students and encourage a bilingual, biliterate and bicultural classroom.

Why Do I Teach?:
To see my students get it (that "ah ha/lightbulb" moment), is the most amazing thing. These babies walk into my room on that first day of school and I wonder how they are ever going to understand what it is I want them to know and understand. Before I know it, we are half way through the school year and they are way ahead of me!
