About Me:
This is my fourth year teaching third grade at Hebron Avenue Elementary School. Prior to being a third grade teacher, I was a K-5 Remedial Reading Teacher for two years in West Hartford.
College and Degrees:
Bachelor of Science - Central Connecticut State University -- Major English with a Concentration in Elementary Education, 2002 Master of Arts - St. Joseph College -- Major Education - Remedial Reading & Language Arts, 2005 Master Master in Educational Technology - Central Connecticut State University - Estimated completion Fall 2010

Traveling, Going to the Beach, Reading, Advancing myself both educationally & professionally
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to inspire! I hope that through my teaching, I will inspire each one of my students to take new risks and try new things. I teach to help each and every one of my students reach their true potentials as learners. I teach because I love working with children and seeing the look of excitement on their faces when they've learned something new. The greatest successes happen when those that struggle the most to learn finally master a goal.
