Leaksville Spray Elem School
Class Information:
Room Number: 103
Students per Class: 18
Class Description:
I have several EC inclusion students. I also have all low economic students. These students do not have access to technology unless they are at school. They need all the help they can get to keep up with the average peers.
We need 5 tablets or 5 lap computers to use in small groups for projects, research, and learning games.
My Philosophy:
When students are given all the advantages that others students have at home in a loving school environment they can catch up and pass many of their peers and become self sufficient adults.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been teaching for 11 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade. I have three daughters of my own and loving husband who is very supportive.
College and Degrees:
I have a BS degree from SUNY Cortland and a Masters degree in Technology Education from AIU online.
I love the outdoors. I love running and hiking. I love to read and do crafts.
Favorite Books:
I love all the children's books.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I want every student to receive the best education possible. I have had good and bad teachers in my life and I work hard to be the best teacher my students can have. I know it make a huge difference if a child love their teacher. They are more willing to try if something is difficult. I love being around my students and sharing their lives with them.
