Objectives: 1. Students will be able to write grammatically correct sentences.
2. Students will be able to write for a variety of purposes (to inform, persuade, and tell a story)
3. Students will be able to manipulate technology to cleary explain ideas.
4. Students will be able to identify parts of speech
5. Students will use photographs to write clear, meaningful paragraphs.

Students use cameras to take pictures of various still objects around the school. Then each student will work on creating complete sentences that fit each particular picture. Upon completing the sentences, the students will identify nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives within each sentence. The students will use word processing software to download the pictures and create slideshow presentations of their sentence assignment.

Ongoing Activities:
Upon completion of the sentence lesson, students will take more pictures and be able to synthesize all pictures into a cohesive paragraph.

Follow-Up
students could create stories to read to younger students. Students would also be able to take pictures that would support persuasive essays as well as descriptive and narrative essays.
