English language learners need the opportunity to have visuals to describe new words and concepts. The students will use the digital cameras to share things in their world. The pictures will be shared in class and vocabulary will be matched with the photos. The cameras will accompany students on field trips and the students will create bilingual powerpoint presentations. Students will share holidays and aspects of their culture with others through photos and speaking activities. The students will be able to explore similarities and differences between cultures and also between their culture and American culture.
