Character Really Counts Page Views: 517

"A picture is worth a thousand words."
Character traits should not just be words up on a bulletin board. Students need to reflect on what the words really mean.
For example, the teacher would ask, "What is responsibility? How would you know it if you saw it? What scenarios can you come up with to show someone acting with responsibility?"
The students would then work in small groups to come up with visual images that put the traits into actions they can relate to. They would stage their scenes and take pictures to display. |
