1. Have the students select a movie poster they would like to be the star of. Image must be appropiate.
2. Students study the poster to determine the lighting angle, temperture, and position of the star they will be replacing.
3. Students take photographs of each other matching closely the position of the star they will be replacing, and the temperture of the lighting.
4. Photos are then placed on the computers and opened with digital imaging software( Photoshop Elements).
5. The movie poster image from online is opened as well.
6. The photos are copied and pasted into the movie image file.
7. Students remove the background from their image and begin to change the colors and tones of their image to match that of the poster image.
8. Using tools in the image editing software such as: smudge tool, eraser, blending tool, air brushes and cloning tools the students replace their star with their own image.

The results can be quite funny.
The students Love this project and look forward to it at te end of their computer class each term.
