I SPY!

Students will gather 5-10 items in their desks to use as search items for their collage. They will use one of their textbooks as the background. Students will place the items from their desk on the text book background. Using a tripod and digital camera they will take a picture up close of those items. Students will then print out their picture and write the items they wish students to find next to the picture. They will go to the computer and type those items with the picture and create a "themed" sentence to go with the items they wish for their reading buddies to search for. When they are finished, they will print again in color and we will bind together into a book and share with our reading buddies having them do the searching for the items.
