Fairy Tale

This is really fun! For this mission, each group (of 3-5 students) will need to retell a popular story, using only pictures! (It doesn’t necessarily have to be a fairy tale, but it must be a story that everyone has heard of.) Also, each photo must have had some type of software manipulation (crop, paint, insert, cut, layer, filter....)

Requirements in a Nutshell:

• The story must have at least 20 pictures
• The story must be made into a book
• Each photo must have its own page

Necessary Equipment:

• Digital Camera
• USB Cord/Media Card Reader
• Photoshop, Microsoft Paint (any photo software)
• Color Printer
• Paper/Props

*everyone in the group must suggest at least one story- all must be presented to me

*everyone in the group must make at least two props

*everyone in the group must be in at least 15 pictures

*each person in the group must digitally alter at least two photos
Comments
This is so fun, and the students really get creative and original! I've had students retell The Princess and the Pea, Shrek and even Star Wars. (I, too, get quite a kick out of it:)
