1. Read a book about patterns and hunt for patterns in the classroom.

2. Clap patterns with class and discuss how patterns are all around us.

3. With partners students use cameras to take pictures of patterns they find in the school/room.

4. Students download onto computer and print pictures.

5. Teacher creates a class pattern book.
