I am going to have the students write stories of their summer vacation. They are going to pre-write, write a rough draft, revise, and write a final copy. Next each student is going to read their stories into the microphone and make a podcast. Once the podcast is finished, they are going to put pictures into the podcast and make it a photo podcast.

Once the podcasts are complete, I will then take the podcasts and put them onto my webpage. Here they can download each other's podcasts and either listen to them on the computer or put them on their ipods, microsoft zune's, etc.

On the webpage I have already created I have blogs set up where anyone can post comments on the other students' stories. I will have each student listen and post comments on other student stories. The comments are moderated by me as the teacher. I think parents and relatives would love to be able to listen to the student's story and be able to write a loving comment to them.
