The first two days of school take a picture of each student. Write a list of the names of each of the students. Use thumbnails of the pictures along with the list of names to create a matching game so the students can learn the names of their new classmates. This can go home for a first week homework activity. The thumbnails can then be used to create a memory game for the students to use in the classroom to further solidify the identification of their classmates.

A color printer makes this activity more exciting but not necessary.
Materials: Point and Shoot, Word Processor, Worksheets, Camera Bags, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries
