Objective : Students will create a multimedia presentation providing information found in the book report assigned in class.
1. Students will read an AR book, fulfilling requirements in their English class.
2. They will be instructed on the use of the laptop. Lessons on PowerPoint and Publisher will be demonstrated for students to learn how to use both software tools.
3. Students will be given an outline and rubric for assessment, describing the guidelines for the assignment.
4. They will be required to give an oral report based on the project, telling the class about their book of choice.
Comments
Students are required by the state department to be proficient in technology. Our old school won't hold but so much information; our wireless points go down all the time and students cannot access information on the network. Flashdrives will give them access all the time in all classes. They will be successful in technology for the required portfolio.
