If you are trying to find ways to have students be able to access your work via the internet and your district hasn't the abilities to allow it for all teachers, www.digication.com might be the answer.

I have uploaded my lesson plans for some of my courses. I can bring up the lesson plans on a whiteboard and access my files.

I can have students who are absent, check the website and see what they missed for the day.

You can even set it up so that students can blog about the days topics.

This can give the students experience in an online course environment.
Our students have to have this experience before they graduate high school.

It's located at:
http://campus.digication.com/home.digi?sid=1445&cid=0&tid=0&pid=0

and
it's free!

This also encourages students to have access to online learning!
Comments
It's up to the teacher to monitor student engaging on the website. By creating topics to talk about helps and by guiding students to the website and accessing files helps also.
