This lesson was created to use in the style of a camp. Being that I am in Florida, I had to develop a fun and exciting way to ramp our students up for our yearly taking of the FCAT test. To do this I created a lesson using our promethian board and activotes. I put basci math questions into the ActivStudio software and gave the students four multiple choice answers for each question. I divided the group into teams of two and gave each team an Activote to record their answer. For each question, I could see which teams answered the question correctly to keep track of data. Then we worked the problem out on the board where all the students could see the thinking behind how it was solved.

The students loved this and it got them excited about math which is hard to do.
