Students require understanding of making themselves safe online. They are constantly uploading and video taping themselves for their profiles and don't think twice about their online persona.
Lesson 1. Pictures are taken from online profiles for students in the school. Student pictures are critiqued on their safety and appropriateness for the real world. Students will ask and answer....Can I tell where you live? What school you attend? Where are you? Who else is with you? What other things do you notice that could be used as identifying factors?
Students will discuss the ways to locate people and steps to take to prevent being found online. Ie. shirt logos, playground signs, street signs. skate parks etc.
