Grades K through 4

Planned By: Danielle Wiggins
Original Author: Danielle Wiggins, Bethel Spgs
I would take pictures of items of interest within our school to use in teaching math skills to Kindergarten students.
When we study shapes, pictures of those shapes would be presented on the classroom television display, so students can make the connection between the material and real life.
When we study patterns, the pictures of students would be displayed to show boy/girl patterning or return back to shapes pictures to show their different patterning.
When studying numbers, we will find numbers in our school to show differences in where and how you might see them in real life, such as on the classroom number, telephone, etc.

The equipment would be used on a weekly basis to reflect on the material being taught, through slideshow presentations.
