Each students will get a dance dance revolution board. Students will follow along with the video trying to coordinate their feet to touch the correct spot at the correct time. Students will take a ten second heart rate before beginning the video, every 6 minutes during the video and at the end of the video. Students will chart their heart rates and record how they felt at the time and the reason for thier heart rate being higher or lower(game speed was faster, more jumps in the dance, etc).
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Can use a computer class to help create charts and graphs of individuals heart rate or group heart rates.
