Nouns Field Trip

IF you are on the unit of nouns, you can give the children the meaning of the word noun, then you take them outside with pencil and paper and tell them to write down the nouns they see around the school building. When you return to the classroom, you but each noun in its special category and have the children to post them....My children really enjoyed this activity.
