What is needed.
1-digital camera per group
1-computer per group
hand written plan to tell story of the animation
clay-several colors
microphone-if audio is to be included.

Using clay, start with the first scene and create the figures for the entire scene. Create a background for the scene.
1. take a 640x480 shot of the first scene
(camera in a stationary position)
2. continue the camera shots every few seconds of the animation. Use a variety of colors for the objects.
Explain to the students about the old Disney and Davy/Golith movies--how they are taken one frame at a time, then inimated.
3. Take at least 50 shots of the slow motion animation, moving each clay piece to create a new scene in the sequense.
4. Check for proper sequenses for an ending
5. Use TOOLFACTORY software to create the movie sequence.
6. Allow the students to critique each others work
7. Reshoot the scenes if necessary.
8 Be creative and have fun.
