Using the instruction manual as a guide:
-Students work independently to complete a planning sheet with ten things about themselves.
-Students write a paragraph for each item on their list, so that they end up with a ten-paragraph autobiography, written in Microsoft Word, learning the tools available to them for editing and formatting.
- Students use PhotoBooth to take their picture, crop it in iPhoto, then export the picture. They place it at the top of their Word document, resize and center the photo, then print their autobiography.
-Students bring in at least ten photos of them and their family, which are scanned for them. Using these photos, students create an iMovie about their life thus far.
-Using a microphone, students read their autobiography into the movie./
- Using GarageBand, students create background music to play softly in the background of their movie.
-Students export their movie into their digital portfolio (DVD) along with their other projects.

**Special Education students are required to write five paragraphs, rather then ten.
